Edinburgh’s main rail station is Edinburgh Waverley. Direct trains run regularly from London to Edinburgh, as well as from Manchester and Newcastle. There is also a frequent rail service between Glasgow and Edinburgh, with trains from Glasgow Queens Street station to Edinburgh taking around 45 minutes.
